Position Summary
Works directly and indirectly with Wardlaw Group clients to perform a variety of communication functions including: public relations / public affairs, organizational communication, technical communication, communication training, meeting support, and related tasks.
Assists the Chief Consultant and VA Operations Manager with general business management operations. This includes establishing office policies and procedures in an active organization with a high volume of complex and changing array of projects. Drafts documents and assists in proposal preparations, project communications, and report preparation. Provide logistical support for meetings, seminars, workshops, and travel. Position is the first point of contact for office.
Required Qualifications
A strong ability to communicate effectively through written and oral communication is a must. Experience in a professional office environment; demonstrated experience in newsletters, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, etc. development; strong computer skills in electronic file management, word processing, database management, graphics, and spreadsheets. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced office with frequent short-notice deadlines; and ability to plan and organize work independently and deliver products on schedule. Experience in developing communication strategies, marketing materials, and desk top publishing is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in communication or related field.
